The meetings are online, on the last Friday of each month from 12:30 to 1: pm+/-. Agenda: First 15 minutes is Council introduction, membership, current issues, and general business. The second 15 minutes changes each time between training, SOPs, operational processes, and new requirements. Hurricane season is coming, amidst a pandemic and other unrest. How do we safely respond? The Council will serve as a Statewide database of response assets available to respond as requested to man-made and natural disasters thru mutual aid. Equipment (mission ready packages), personnel trained, certified and a single contact number with immediate group page. The Council will provide education/training to its Public Works response teams bi-annually (Feb and June in conjunction with the TX-APWA Public Workshop and the TX-APWA Annual Conference). The Council will facilitate/organize the set up of additional regional response teams throughout the State Mission
