JOB SUMMARY: The objective of the Project Manager (PM) is to assist the city in timely completion of the infrastructure improvement projects identified in the Capital Improvement Program, vertical building projects and to provide support in review and permitting private development projects. The PM may be the city’s contact for property, right-of-way and easement acquisitions. Also, the PM will be involved in making preparations for future Capital Improvement Programs including project narratives and budgets.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, DEGREES, CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSE: Education and Experience:
? Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in in a field related to Engineering, Business/Construction Administration, Project Management, Planning, etc. ? Additional five (5) years of relevant work experience/management may be considered in lieu of the requirement of a bachelor’s degree. ? Minimum of five (5) years’ experience conducting activities related to project/construction management, planning and coordination of right-of-way and easement acquisitions for municipal infrastructure improvement projects. ? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
Required Licenses or Certifications:
? A valid Texas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
